يجوز في جملة الاختصاص أن تعرب حالا مثلما يجوز أن تعرب اعتراضبة لا محل لها من الإعراب
ففي مثل
نحن المسلمين نحب الخير
المسلمين مختص بالمدح مفعول به لفعل الاختصال المحذوف وجوبا وفيه فاعله المستتر والجملة المقدرة بأخص المسلمين حال من نحن في محل نصب ولا قوة لرأي القائلين بامتناع الحال من المبتدأ أو معترضة بين المبتدأ وخبره لا محل لها من الإعراب
والقول بالحال أحب إلي لتمام المبتدأ بها وعموم الخبر لهما معا ، على ما علمنا الحق -سبحانه، وتعالى!- بقوله: “كنتم خير أمة… تؤمنون…”، أن الخيرية متعلقة بهم في حال الإيمان وما صدقه من العمل
