على المماليك بيع أنفسهم وكل ما جردوا وما كسبوا
ولتحي مصر بما لها جمعت لكل أبنائها الألى اغتربوا
وليغضب النيل بعض غضبته وقد درى كيف يثمر الغضب
ما النيل للبيع لا شغيع لمن يخونه إن أهله نجب
العز عبد السلام يكمن في النيل فتيا والنيل مرتقب
مستفعل مفعولات مستعلن والمتنبي جواده تعب
يا أهل مصر كفاكم ضحك مثل بكاء فأمركم عجب
عبدتم العجل شدتم صنما له فشاه المعبود والنصب
وقد شريتم ولاتكم فطغوا وشاه وال تبنى له القبب
مستفعلن مفعولات مستعلن أهذه المفعولات تحتجب
فلتغضبي مفعولات وارتقبي غضبة واد ترد ما غصبوا
ولتجرفي في الولاة قزمتها لا تتساوى الرؤوس والذنب
